Crop Video

Common uses

• Turn a landscape video into a vertical 9:16 clip for Reels, Shorts or TikTok.
• Make square 1:1 videos for feeds.
• Remove black bars, a watermark area at the edge or an unwanted part of the frame.

Using the crop box

• Drag inside the box to move it; drag the handles to resize.
• Pick a ratio to lock the shape, or “Free” for any size.
• Type an exact width and height in pixels if needed; sizes are rounded to even numbers, as video encoders require.

Result

The video is re-encoded to H.264 MP4 at high quality and the original sound is kept. Cropping removes pixels, so a small cropped area gives a smaller picture.
