Fill in forms without printing
Many applications, contracts and government documents come as fillable PDFs. Instead of printing, writing by hand and scanning, type directly into the fields on the page and download a clean, readable form.
- Text fields, including multi-line boxes.
- Check boxes and radio buttons.
- Drop-down lists and option lists.
Arabic and every language
Type in any language. Values are stored as Unicode so PDF readers display them correctly. Turn on Flatten to draw the text into the page, so it looks the same in every reader and can no longer be changed.
Tips
- Check every page: fields can be anywhere in the document.
- Use Reset to restore the values the form had when you opened it.
- Add a signature afterwards with the Sign PDF tool.
Frequently asked questions
Which forms can I fill in?
PDF files with interactive fields (AcroForm), such as most official application forms. Fields appear as blue boxes over the page.
My PDF shows no fields. What can I do?
The file is not a fillable form, for example a scan. Use the Sign PDF tool to add your signature, or print it and fill it in by hand.
Can I write in Arabic?
Yes. Arabic and other languages are saved and displayed by PDF readers. Choose "Flatten" to turn the text into a fixed part of the page that looks the same everywhere.
What does flatten mean?
The values become part of the page and the fields can no longer be edited. This is useful before sending or printing a final version.
Can I edit the form again later?
Yes, if you don't flatten it. Open the saved file here again and change any field.
Is my data uploaded?
No. The form and everything you type are processed in your browser and never leave your device.
