Prepare Image for Upload
Application forms, portals and marketplaces often reject images that are too big, the wrong format or the wrong size. Set the rules once and get images that pass, one photo or a whole batch.
- Add one or more images
- Choose format, dimensions and the maximum file size
- Check the results and download
Your files never leave your device
Three rules at once
- Format: JPG for photos, PNG for graphics with sharp edges, WEBP for the smallest files.
- Dimensions: fit inside a maximum width × height, or get an exact size (the image is cropped to fill it from the centre).
- File size: type a limit like 200 KB or tap a common one; quality is tuned automatically to stay under it.
- Location and camera data (EXIF/GPS) are removed because the image is saved again.
How the size limit is reached
The tool first looks for the highest quality that fits the limit. If even a lower quality is too large, it reduces the dimensions step by step instead of making the photo blocky. In exact-size mode the dimensions never change, so only the quality is lowered; if a limit is impossible the result is marked so you can choose a larger limit.
Typical uses
Photos and scanned documents for job, school, visa and government applications, profile pictures, marketplace listings, insurance claims and support tickets. Each form has its own rules, and here you can match any of them without installing software.
Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. Everything is processed in your browser and your photos stay on your device.
Can I make a photo smaller than 100 KB?
Yes. Enter 100 KB (or tap it) and the tool finds the best quality that fits, reducing the dimensions only if needed.
Will the photo be stretched in exact-size mode?
No. It is scaled to cover the size and the extra edges are cropped evenly, so proportions stay correct.
Can it make a small image bigger?
In “fit inside” mode images are never enlarged. Exact-size mode enlarges small images to the size you need.
Which formats can I open?
JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, BMP and AVIF (where the browser supports it). HEIC photos can first be converted with HEIC to JPG.
Can I prepare many photos at once?
Yes. Add as many as you like and download them together as a ZIP.
