When to use each case
- Title Case for headings, titles and names of books or articles.
- Sentence case for normal text, captions and buttons.
- UPPERCASE for short labels and warnings — long passages are hard to read.
- lowercase to fix text that was typed with Caps Lock on.
Naming styles for programmers
- camelCase: variables and functions in JavaScript and Java (userName).
- PascalCase: class and component names (UserProfile).
- snake_case: Python variables and database columns (user_name).
- kebab-case: URLs, CSS classes and file names (user-name).
- CONSTANT_CASE: constants and environment variables (MAX_SIZE).
Clean-up tools
Text copied from PDFs or websites often contains double spaces and broken lines. "Remove extra spaces" tidies spacing, "Join lines" turns the text into one paragraph, and "Reverse text" writes it backwards.
Frequently asked questions
Which conversions are available?
UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, Sentence case, inverse case, camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, CONSTANT_CASE and dot.case, plus removing extra spaces, joining lines and reversing text.
Does it work with languages other than English?
Yes. It handles accented and non-Latin letters such as Greek, Cyrillic or Turkish. Scripts without capital letters, like Arabic or Chinese, are left unchanged by case conversions.
Can I undo a conversion?
Yes. The Undo button restores the text as it was before the last action.
What are camelCase and snake_case?
Naming styles used in programming: camelCase joins words with capitals (myFileName), snake_case uses underscores (my_file_name) and kebab-case uses hyphens (my-file-name).
Is my text sent to a server?
No. All conversions run on your device and the text is not saved.
Is there a size limit?
No practical limit; very long texts depend only on your device's memory.
