What the sheet contains

Files: name, extension, folder, full path, size in bytes and readable size, last modified date.
Types: number of files and total size for every extension.
Folders: number of files and total size of each folder.
Filters are turned on so you can sort and search right away.

Useful for

Archive inventories, handing over a project, checking what a shared drive contains, finding the largest files before a backup, or documenting deliveries to a client.

Does it include subfolders?

Yes, every level. The folder column shows where each file is.

Are file contents read?

No. Only names, sizes and dates are used.

Can I get CSV instead of Excel?

Yes. CSV opens in any spreadsheet app and other tools.

Why are some files missing?

System files such as Thumbs.db or .DS_Store are skipped unless you untick that option.

Which browsers are supported?

All modern browsers on computers: Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.

Is my folder uploaded?

No. The list is created in your browser on your device.
